I saw this domain had not been re-registered and paid a drop catching service to catch the domain on the day it became available. The bi-fold.co.uk domain name could be a very start to a website or company promoting or selling bi fold doors, or multi-folding doors. Bi fold doors have become extremely popular in the last few years for domestic applications as well as business applications. Bi fold doors as used to open the space usually at the rear of the house into the garden and provide an open plan living into the outside space. They are also becoming widely used in place of patio doors on conservatories, again because of the way they can open out fully, giving a wide open space and bringing the light and space of the garden inside. I have plans to build awebsite with this domain or sell the domain to an interested company.

Reversing Camera

I recently found a domain that had been dropped and not renewed. The domain was reversingcamera.co.uk and after looking through the google keywords tool i found that the search keywords for “reversing camera” were quite high with a good value cpc (cost per click).

The reverisng camera exact search term had 22,000 searches per month witha cost per click of £1.00. Ideally with this amount of people searching for reversing car cameras, i should be able to put a website on the domain and make some revenue from adsense and other affiliate links. The website is underway, and temporarily i had added some search terms, filled in the pages and meta tags and put one section of google adsense on the site and also an Amazon affiliate A-store.

Amazon sells plenty of reversing cameras and reversing sensors for people to search for. When i searched for the domain name, i was very suprised to find that the domain name www.reversingcamera.com was also free and so i registered that also.

With such good search terms, and both domains in the .com and .co.uk for reversing camera these were a very good find. All i have to do know is promote these website, fill the websites with content and get some backlinks to try and get either or both of these sites on the first page of search engines. Alternatively i could contact other owners and buisnesses who sell reversing cameras and sell the domains to an end user.

In conclusion, either of the above will hopefully make some revenue for very little outlay.

With the success of one of my first websites www.fireenginelimo.co.uk, i have decided to try another limo directory site. The fire engine limo directory gets approximately 150 – 400 views per day by people looking for fire engine limo’s for hen nights, weddings and other special events. This has now gained a Google page rank of 2 and makes revenue through google adsense, affiliate links and limo hire companies advertising on the site.

However this site was written in html and requires each change to the pages to be done manually. After looking around for automatic scripts i found the most popular to be the phplinkdirectory. Ideally i plan to promote this site through my other limo directory and begin with some reciprical linking.  Limo companies will be able to get listed on the site free witha reciprical link or can pay a small fee per year for a standard listing or a featured listing.

The benefit of this system is that the links are added by the limo comapnies themselves and all i have to do is approve them to make the listing live. As with all programmes involved with websites and the internet there is a certain amount of learning to be done, but with this software it will save so much time in the long run.

Theses websites have been constructed to earn revenue from a variety of sources. The domain names that i own are all for sale, so to keep the cost of registering the domains and buying other potential domains it is essential to earn some money from them.

Domain parking is one way of earning revenue on the domain names you own. The best way to earn money from your unused domains is to build a collection of small niche ministes with relevant, current and individual content based on your chosen subject, (usually the title of your domain name). These websites can earn revenue through placing advertising on those websites. You can place google ads on the websites, affiliate links such as amazon, ebay and most other stores or shops that you can find on the internet.
